Emerson Wright is a young composer attending Berklee College of Music majoring in Film and Media Scoring with a double minor in Musical Theater Writing & Game and Interactive Media Scoring. With roots in musical theater, he is a storyteller who loves the craft of creating narrative through music. Dreaming big to bring stories to life.

Born and raised in Los Angeles California, Emerson has been surrounded by art and creativity his entire life. Spending his childhood as a dancer, sketch artist, and theater performer he was no stranger to artistic expression.

From a very young age, Emerson's interest was captured by of the wondrous orchestral works of composers such as John Powell, and James Newton Howard. He aspires to create music that amplifies the same magic and wonder that their work lends to on-screen stories.

During his studies, Emerson was inspired by the works of composers Daniel Pemberton, Tom Holkenborg, and Henry Jackman discovering a passion for hybrid scoring. Emerson’s favorite projects grant him the opportunity to incorporate orchestral, synthetic, and non traditional instruments.

Emerson is grateful to have worked on many live action & animated student films. Early collaborations with his friends and partners at Stallion Pictures instilled the confidence needed to take on work in a variety of genres. Collaborating with fellow storytellers who inspire him has been a true gift to the beginning of his career.

Emerson is passionate about performance as well as composition and has enjoyed opportunities to perform during his time at Berklee. He spent time as a choir member in Berklee's Audiré Orchestra sharing his love for Anime & Video Game Music along side his peers. Before Emerson began his studies at Berklee he had experience working as a backup singer & dancer on NBC’s The Voice.
